Instruction hours: |
This is an online, personalized, interactive, 2-session course of 5 total hours delivered via Zoom; which will allow real-time, virtual interaction with teacher. Recording of classes provided to students. Full access to teacher between classes via email.
Group workshops can be customized and include 5-6 total hours of instruction, preferably split into 2 days. |
Tools & materials: |
For in-person workshops, all materials will be provided in your materials kit. You just need to bring a rotary cutter (any size), scissors, a small cutting mat, and your sense of adventure!
Full handout and pattern choices will be emailed to registered participants well in advance of a zoom workshop. For students participating via Zoom, a supply list will be provided or a materials kit can be ordered in advance. If no materials fee or kit ordered: Black (base) fabric\ 12 x16 charm pack or jelly roll of solids and/or batiks (or a good assortment of scraps) Background fabric(s) black design on white Black misty fuse 12 x16 (no substitutions. (Mistyfuse.com or from instructor if not avilable locally. ask your local quilt sho to carry it!). This will be fused to the front of your base black fabric Freezer paper 12x16 Nonstick sheet full size (Goddess or teflon, fiberglass, etc, Or parchment paper) Plus a mini of same Transfer paper (transdoodle highly recommended. Mistyfuse.com if not available from me or locally) Backing fabric 14 x20,Batting 12 x16,Small rotary cutter and mat and/or scissors Travel iron,Sewing machine with free motion foot,Variegated thread Drawing paper.Pencil/pen, or fine line marker Handouts and full size patterns will be provided in class |

Individuals: $85, $35 materials kit. (Add postage if materials kits are shipped.)
Groups or guilds: $800 up to 20 students, plus $30 per person materials kit. (Add postage if materials kits are shipped.) |
